Welcome to our website. Prentice Glass Ltd. was first established as a glass merchant and glazing contractor in 1951 by Mr Reginald Albert Prentice. The company was soon supplying local householders, building contractors and local authorities.
Following two compulsory purchase orders, we moved into St. John's Hill and Mysore Road, where we successfully traded for many years. As the company continued to grow so did our need for larger premises, which finally prompted the move to our present location. This move allowed us to invest in new machinery and personnel; leaving us in the best possible position to serve our customers in today's ever demanding and legislative industry while maintaining the desirable qualities of a family run business.
