Congratulations…

by john

Earlier this year we worked alongside designer/artist Clare. And just yesterday we got sent the images of the completed table as shown below.

The Glass boxes that we help make was made from 8mm Toughened Clear Glass and UV Bonded. First we made a small box, then around the small box we bonded a slightly larger box with a 2mm air gap such that Clare could fill with prepared fish scales. Unfortunately I am not good with words but it looked stunning and created spectrum of deifferent coloured light. After this Clare made and fixed wooden legs to the base to form a table. And below she has sent a photo of the completed table with the people she got the scales from.

Lastly we would like to congratulate Clare on the completion of her degree and the work we were lucky to be involved in.

Le Raj Restaurant in Ewell

by john

In recent months we were privileged to refurbish the entire shop front for the prestigious Le Raj Restaurant in Ewell. Despite the fantastic history of the restaurant it has decided to have a new fit out and the stunning new look meets the quality of its food.

The entire shop front is cladded in back painted glass and metal work has been matched with powder coated aluminium. Armour plated doors and concealed overhead closures have been used to maximize glass and light into the restaurant and ensure a contemporary design with minimal fittings has been achieved.

For more on shop fronts call 020 8944 9001 or visit our products page.

by john

Last week three new employees were tested in the use of scaffold towers, mobile cherry pickers and booms and scissor lifts (3a and 3b). All three operatives passed and this has now increased our ability to provide reactive works to high level jobs.

We highly recommend the company providing these qualifications, so for more information view their website below…
